Destry jetton biography

Host of the popular lifestyle show Arizona Midday on NBC Channel 12, Destry Jetton leads a glamorous work life, travelling to exotic locales for shoots and interviewing celebrities.

To her two kids, Hayden (8) and Blythe (6), she’s simply mom and has been married to her high school sweetheart for the last 24 years. Her ability to balance a demanding career (and always look stylish and sunny on camera!), while putting her family first and rarely missing one of her kids’ activities, is nothing short of inspirational.

One of seven children, Destry has a twin sister and grew up in Tempe, Arizona.

She always knew she wanted to be on TV, and while majoring in broadcasting at Arizona State University had a regular pet segment on cable access for the Arizona Animal Welfare League. After graduation, Destry started her television career in St.

Joseph, Missouri, and then moved to Waco, Texas, followed by Tucson, Arizona prior to joining Channel 12 in 2007.
