Early Life and Education

Ana de la Reguera was born on April 8, 1977, in the coastal city of Veracruz, Mexico.

Her mother, Nena, was a former "Miss Veracruz" beauty pageant winner who pursued a career in television journalism.

Ana's childhood was filled with ballet classes, and after graduating from high school, she enrolled in the Institute of Culture to study the arts. She later left her hometown for Mexico City to attend Televisa, Latin America's largest producer of telenovelas.
