She is best known for portraying the roles of Fiona Middleton in the ITVsoap operaCoronation Street (1992–1998, 2019), Jasmine Hopkins in the BBC medical drama series Holby City (1999–2001), and Kim Campbell in the BBC school-based drama series Waterloo Road (2006–2007, 2009–2010, 2023–present).
